Our story
kainta!
Built for households where meal planning is genuinely hard.

Most meal planners assume the hardest part is deciding what to eat. For a lot of families, that's not the problem. The problem is that not everyone can eat the same things — and no tool was built to handle that.

I'm a developer and a mom. I do the cooking in our house. We have a family member with specific sensory needs around food — textures, flavors, familiar anchors that make a meal feel safe. We have someone who can't eat certain ingredients at all. We cook from two food cultures, and we're always balancing nutrition against what will actually get eaten.

Every week I was doing the same mental gymnastics. What can I make that works for everyone? What's fast enough for a Tuesday? Do we have the ingredients? Is this something she'll actually try?

A table where everyone can eat.

I looked for a tool that could hold all of that at once. Something that knew our household — not just dietary flags, but the full picture. The safe foods. The hard nos. The preferred cooking methods on a weeknight. The cultural dishes that anchor our table.

It didn't exist. So I built it.

"Kainta! doesn't treat restrictions as filters.
It builds the plan around them from the start."
The idea behind Kainta!

Kainta! learns your household — who's eating, what they need, how you cook, and what your week looks like. It generates a full week of meals that works for every person at your table, simultaneously. Grocery list included. Nothing you can't actually make.

It's not perfect yet. It's still early. But it works for our family, and I think it can work for yours.
